The estate provides luxurious accommodation for up to 15 people in 8 bedrooms spread over 3 separate stone houses, offering maximum privacy to guests. Every bedroom has large comfortable beds and its own private bathroom. La Forestière has been completely updated with modern amenities (including internet access and wifi) and tastefully furnished in authentic Provencal style to satisfy the most discerning guests. Facilities include a superb heated swimming pool in the style of a traditional stone water basin, a magnificent ancient olive grove, a boule court, an A.O.C vineyard and a fully-fledged garage winery. There is a resident estate manager in a separate annex who will be able provide guests with concierge services and a tour of the estate and its winery.
The North Wing of the main ‘Mas’ comprises a spacious living room with a fireplace and piano, a dining room, an office, and a large modern kitchen. A small herb garden outside the kitchen is a complement to guests who would like to season their food with freshly picked herbs. Adjacent to the living room is an expansive terracotta terrace with a sweeping view of the olive grove and the surrounding hills. The terrace includes a pergola covered outdoor dining area for up 16 people, a large stone barbecue, and a shaded sitting area with comfortable sofas and a coffee table. The large stone-walled entrance hall that separates the north and south wings is ideal for those seeking a peaceful reading corner.
The South Wing of the main ‘Mas’ comprises the master bedroom, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all with ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The spacious master bedroom has its own fireplace, fully equipped kitchenette, a large private terracotta terrace with a reading corner, a small dining area and a private outdoor jacuzzi.
The 'Mazet' is a guesthouse located next to the main 'Mas'. It comprises 2 double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The first bedroom comes with its own kitchenette. Behind the 'Mazet' is a secluded stone terrace with a beautiful view of the luscious fig and oak trees shading the traditional Provencal boule (a favorite sports amongst the locals) court. There are comfortable cushioned lounge chairs under a large sun umbrella for you to while away your afternoon reading or watching your friends and family playing boule.
The ‘Bergerie’ (Shepherdhouse) is an independent house some 50m uphill from the main ‘Mas’. The house has two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a very large living/dining room with high ceilings, a modern open kitchen, and a large fireplace in typical Provencal style. The outdoor dining terrace in front of the house has a breathtaking view over the olive grove, the main Mas and the hills nearby.
The 15x5 meters heated swimming pool, framed with large old stones from the region, is built in the style of an old water basin. Its stone covered terrace, with 8 large reclining wooden deck chairs and large umbrellas, is perfectly equipped for relaxing and sunbathing. Just a few meters away, a large wooden pool house awaits with a bar with fridge, a dining area for 10, and a sitting area with comfortable sofas.
